Saturday Social Rides
These run weekly and always start at 9am from Maryport Street north car park, Usk, NP15 1ED. The distance covered is usually about 30 miles and the rides attract a mixture of new and experienced riders. If you're new to cycling or not sure about the longer distance of the Sunday rides then this is a great way to start out with the club. No one gets left behind and there's a cafe stop at half way.
Sunday Club Runs
The Sunday club run lies at the heart of our activities. We rotate the start point between a few locations around the county - normally Usk, Magor, Chepstow and Monmouth. The distance is usually around 50 miles but the difficulty can vary considerably depending on the amount of climbing. The best place to find out about the next couple of rides is the events section of our members' Facebook page. If you're not yet a member you can still join the page for a trial period - just ask.
Time Trials
The club runs time trials on Thursday evenings throughout the summer, generally on the R10/17 course on the A40 between Abergavenny and Raglan. Full details are on the TT Schedule page and the members' Facebook page. Riders sign on in the lay-by outside the Hardwick restaurant on the B4598 (post code NP7 9AA). Riders from other clubs are welcome but please note that you must be a member of an affiliated club to ride.
